Life Style Section Update; Dirty H Go to a Park

I just put up a photo set of Roger Wilkinson skating the inflow skatepark yesterday. It was the worst storm of the year, so we decided the best thing for us to do is go rolling. If you want to check out all the pictures taken go HERE. I will upload some of the clips on youtube later as well.

Reason For Lack Of Updates.

Whats going on everyone? I just wanted to give reasoning for the lack of updates recently. It is my last month before exams and I have a major assignment due every week. However, I just finished my first assignment so there will be a lot of updates soon, either today or tomorrow! Also, I will try to keep up with everything as best I cant, I promise you that.

Things to look forward to in the near future

- Richie Eisler interview

- Indepth Aragon 2 initial review (bought off Shop-Task of course)

- Heat wheels review

- Video contest (for The Apple that Fell Far From the Tree)

Banner Change!

Looks like Canadian Roll Changed its banner around. We are CANADIAN Roll, so it was decided we needed to represent a Canadian Shop, and to be honest I do not think any shop in Canada is doing a better job than Shop-Task. Through our experiences working with Leon Basin, owner of Shop-Task, we can say without a doubt that he is dedicated to rolling and seeing our life style grow, which is why I am happy to rock a Shop-Task banner on our website!

Canadian Roll News #291

Canadian Roll at the Bitter Cold Showdown…Well Kind Of.

No, none of the official Canadian Roll members made it out to the Bitter Cold Showdown (BCSD), but our T-shirt and one of our representatives did. Marcos Horta went to the BCSD and represented Canadian Roll to its fullest extent, and for that I am very appreciative and grateful. Here are some pictures of Canadian Roll at the BCSD.

Hamilton Skate Weekend 2; You Decide

Alright here is the deal, we are in the planning stages of the the H.S.W 2 and we need your input. We would like to know if you want the event held the first or second week of June. We are asking because we know a lot of high school students have exams in June, and we want the biggest turn out possible! There will be a thread on the messageboard where you can post your answer, YOU CAN FIND THIS THREAD HERE.

If you have no clue what the H.S.W is then let me fill you in. We wanted to have an event held in Hamilton, Ontario last year, but we knew we did not want to throw a competition. What Canadian Roll decided to do was to have a celebration of rolling by having as many people as we could stay in Hamilton and skate for an entire weekend. There were prizes and the only person you were judged against was yourself, if you stepped up your game then you got a checkmark beside it, the more checkmark the better the chance of winning a prize. The weekend was a huge success, and was one of the biggest events of the summer in the Greater Toronto Area, with many people coming out and staying over. So long story short, we want to do it again, but this year have more sponsors, more skaters, more spots, and a lot more fun! The only way we can do that is if you decide to come. So if you can make it to Hamilton for either the first or second week of June, do it! This will be a large event and a lot of fun.

If you want more information on the event contact canadianroll@gmail.com

Lots of Updates Read Them All!

As many of you know the Bitter Cold Showdown competition just went down, which means there is a lot of news to provide you with. I am just giving everyone a heads up that there is over a page of news, and not to just look at the first page, or you may miss something (such as pictures of the deshi prototypes, a look at the new Razors, and overall coverage of the Bitter Cold competition.

Hamilton Edit on the Lifestyles Page

This is a repost of the Dirty H edit, that was created by Roger Wilkinson. However, I believe it is a great edit and I did not put it up on the lifestyles page during the site expansion, so I am giving people who haven’t seen it a chance. If you want to see the edit go to the Lifestyles page HERE.
