Canadian Roll Good Deed: Fifty-50 Core Frames

I recently sent out a pair of Fifty-50 core frames to Shawn Ponte, who was in desperate need of some frames after just getting back into rolling, and was almost reduced to riding Rollerblade frames. We could not have that happen, so I sent him both pair of Fifty-50 core frames (freestyle and 4-down). I hope he is enjoying the frames. Here are some pictures he shot when the frames go to his house.

Franky Remz Boot

If you have met me you know that I love to ride Xsjado skates, which means I have many pairs of rollerblades lying around my house that never get used. These skates could go to someone who really needs a pair. In the middle of summer I met a good guy named Chuck Markell who was just getting back into skating and was riding a pair of Rollerblade Alpha 3’s which he hated. I told him I had a pair of Franky Remz and that he could try them if he liked. Chuck ended up loving the skates, so I told him I would give them to him, but Chuck being the nice person that he is wouldn’t let me just give them to him so he gave me $60 dollars for the boot only. I haven’t seen Chuck since I gave him the skates, but if he reads this I hope he is enjoying them.

Canadian Roll Turns 1 Year Old

Hey everybody guess what? The site/blog just turned 1 year old today. I never thought it would catch on as much as it has and I am really thankful people like the content that is on here. I hope the site has achieved some of it’s goals of uniting rollers, informing them and keeping them interested in the life style. As always I encourage anyone to give me information on my e-mails (soulassassin___2003@hotmail.com OR canadianroll@hotmail.com) and I will post it up, don’t be shy, even if I have never met you before, just let me know of an event, competition, session or anything you have coming up.

I will continue to strive to get as much information to you as possible, and hopefully see the community of Canadian rollers grow. I would like to thank everybody that helped me during my first year to help the site run smoothly as possible,Roger Wilkinson for pushing me to skate and get photos, Brian Lofgren for always providing new ideas and footage, my girlfriend Agnes Krajewski for constantly pointing out my grammatical errors, which I’m sure she will point out in this post as well, everyone that gave me interviews in my first year, you guys helped more then you can imagine, and finally people who check out the site regularly.

October-Xsjado Frames / TRS Alphas

Xsjado Frames

I met Sean Knight at the Pimp Cup that went down in London, Ontario on September 24th. The first thing I noticed at the first spot was Sean killed everything he skated, he even fell with class, the second thing was that I heard a constant clicking because his frames were broken. The frames he was using, not to mention killing spots with, were broken.

Sean is a super chill guy, with a great out look on skating. Plus he’s old school and has been in rolling way before I even rocked my first pair of skates. There are few people more deserving than Sean Knight

TRS-Alphas

My good friend Brian aka Vortex recently gave away some TRS-Alphas to a random kid we met at one of our spots, for thirty dollars. He took a serious price cut (thirty dollars doesn’t even cover the wheels) to help promote skating. Somthing very worthy of making the good deed of the month.

September-Heat Eric Baily Wheels

In the month of September I helped a good man by the name of Daniel Doidge pick up a pair of Heat Eric Baily wheels. I hope the wheels last him so he can be rolling for a long time. He deffinetly deserves them.

August-TRS Alphas

I helped my man Trevor Roberts from london Ontario by sending him some brand new TRS Alphas that I have never used. I hope this tides him over until he can grab some new Deshi’s that he’s had his eye on.
