Brian Bruno USD Flow Edit

29 08 2008

The Integrated Distribution blog recently updated with an edit of Brian Bruno that was shot and edited by Nick Pietrobon. The edit showcases some fantastic street skating, with Brian skating some high ledges, down rails, plus many other obstacles. All the tricks look very well done, and very stylish, and I was very impressed.

Cameron Card’s “Blood, Pride and True” Section

29 08 2008

The Integrated Distribution blog just made an amazing post, and put up Cameron Card’s “Blood, Pride, and True” section. Right off the bat I am going to tell you that this section is amazing, and it honestly made me want to pick up the video. Cameron’s grinds are stylish, his gaps are huge, and the obstacles that he skates are not for the faint of heart. I would go as far as to say that I love this section. If you want to see the original post, go HERE.

Jeff Dalnas’ Rollerblade Monthly Edit #6

29 08 2008

Jeff Dalnas recently posted up his sixth edition of his Rollerblade Monthly edits. This month Jeff is skating a box, and throwing down some amazing tricks on it. Jeff is one of the few rollers who can make skating a practice box look good, and it actually keeps my attention. I originally got this information from the Be-MAg messageboard, so if you want to see the original post go HERE.

Jack Be Nimble Trailer….Amazing!

28 08 2008

I recently saw this trailer on the Be-Mag messageboard, and I have to say after pressing play I was amazed. “Jack Be Nimble” is a video that follows a group of rollers who traveled 20,000 miles in 2004 to follow the Roll Series events. These rollers were not sponsored, and basically paid their way to attend each competition. The video will be making its rounds on the film festival circuit before it makes its way into shops, with the first film festival being  the Illinois International Film Festivals, which takes place on September 20th. Personally, I think this looks like an extremely promising video, and I was really, really, impressed with the trailer. If you want more information about the video and upcoming screenings go HERE. Lastly, use that same link provided to post any film festivals you may know of, because the creators may enter the video to that specific film festival.

Shop-Task Thursday Night Skate Session.

28 08 2008

As most of us know, Leon Basin, the owner of Shop-Task, has been visiting Ontario for the past week and will be leaving on Saturday. So he has called the Ontario Thursday Night Session (TNS) to be at Mississauga’s Iceland skatepark today (August 28th). This will give everyone a chance to have a good time skating, and possibly pick up some T-shirts and wheels and save some money on shipping!

The SDSF blog recently updated with another great Eric Schrijn edit. The edit features skating from the likes of  Robert Lievanos, Brent Hicks, Alex Wick, Jay Moreno, Russell Day, and Winston Wardwell, plus many others. With names such as those you know the skating is no joke, plus Eric edits the footage well, so  you should be pressing play right now. If you want to see the original post go HERE.
