Don Bambrick Promo

The Sixwonsix production blog just created a post that promotes Don Bambrick. We all know Bambrick is the man, so it is great to see him get all the recognition that he deserves. This post is primarily composed of pictures with a small write up at the top, so if you want to see the write up and all the pictures go HERE.

Vinny Minton Edit

The Denial and Genre blog just posted up a great edit of Vinny Minton skating some Deshi’s and throwing down hammers in skate parks and on street. Vinny has awesome style, and has been holding it down for a long time, which makes this edit even better. If you want to see the original post go HERE.

Top Enteries That Did Not Win

These entries made it hard to choose a winner. However, in the end we decided we wanted the banner that most strongly represented Canadian rolling as a community. They are in no particular order.

Winner Of the Shop-Task and Canadian Roll Banner Contest

All the scores have been tabulated and the results are in. The winner of a brand new set of skates is Dave Ghent from Ontario! Dave took the competition with a great collage piece that shows community in Canadian skating, which is basically what me and judges feel Canadian skating is. So Dave will be getting a pair of size 9 Nimh skates to rock, with a little surprise that they are not just boot only skates…I decided to hold off telling people that little tidbit of info until the end. Other people that did extremely well and came close were Ariel Surya, Jon Topping, Chris Wedman, Derek Mead, Jon Craig,Matt Morgans.

I want to thank Shop-Task for allowing us at Canadian Roll to put on such a great contest, without Leon’s help none of this would have happened. So support Shop-Task because they are doing a lot to support Canadian Rolling. Also, keep checking back for other Canadian Roll contests in the feature!

The skate you are witnessing below is USD Realm white skate, dyed light blue, Psirus liner dyed purple, deshi buckle dyed purple, USD laces dark blue and light blue, Sifika shock absorber, USD VII soulplate without back wing, Kizer elements frame Sean kelso, UC abec 7 bearigns, UC wheels samples dyed purple. Of course, this was originally posted on the Conference website!
