Eric Shrijn Comeback

Adam Killgore just posted a topic on the Be-Mag messageboard that shows Eric Shrijn’s comeback progress since he broke his leg (Which you can see in Radius Media Magazine #2). Eric will be documenting his comeback so people can see his progress. If you want to watch the clips on myspace go HERE. The youtube version can be found below. Rolling Revival Episode 47

I am not going to lie, I am excited, I have been waiting for a new Rolling Revival to come out for quite some time. Lucky for me, when they do come back, they come back with style. Episode 47 clocks in at around an hour and 4 minutes and has interviews with Kevin Dowling, Chris Haffey and Austin Paz. What more could you ask for? If you want more information on the show go HERE. Also, if your any sort of roller you should have revival on your Itunes podcast subscription, and if you don’t save some face and do so immediately.

ALSO…if you don’t listen to the whole podcast, listen to minute 25 onward. Canadian Roll gets a shout out for the Cameron Card interview. So thanks to the guys at Revival for plugging the website, and thanks once again to Cameron for being such a cool guy and doing the interview!

Banner Contest Clarification

Ok, I have been getting some questions about the banner contest, so I will try to answer them in order.

1) Nick, you put the due date as January 4th…but 2 weeks from December 28th is January 11th, whats the deal?

Well the answer is quite simple, I screwed up. It was late when I posted this and clearly my proof reading was horrible, so the due date is January 11th, not the 4th. Sorry about that

2) How many banners can I enter?

I was figuring people would only submit one, but people are really taking initiative so I am going to have to put a limit in order to control flooding of entries from the same people. The limit I have set is 2, you can only enter in 2 banners, so make sure they are your best work. The ones I have seen so far are quite good, so put your best foot forward. Also, don’t try to send them from different E-mail addresses Canadian Roll checks I.P’s on all entries.

3) What are the banner Specs?

The only specs you have to follow is that the banner is 780 x 200 pixels large. Other then that get as creative as you want, but remember keep it related to Canadian Rolling, so what ever you think best represents Canada’s rolling scene include that.

4) How will you know what skates I want?

In the E-Mail you send me, with the banner, specify the skates you want and the size you want them in

Other then that have fun, all the guys over here at Canadian Roll (Roger Wilkinson, Brian Lofgren, and me, Nick D’Amico) really look forward to seeing what you guys make. Lastly, a big thank you goes out to Leon Basin and Shop-Task for making this all possible. The bottom line is he is there supporting basically every event, and many contest like this one, and really helps Canadian skating grow, and that includes this website. So try to support the supporters.
