Recently there has been a lot of buzz around the internet about the new frame by Ground Control. Initially this frame was seen on the NIMH myspace page when Brian Shima was testing the new skates (this post can be found HERE). Then the frame was seen on the Razor website (which can be found HERE). Recently the Razor podcast did a whole video on the new frame, and it explain every aspect of the frame, below is a summary of the podcast.
**This information was presented to me by Patrick Webb, I personally want to tell him thank you for the heads up.**
Info on the Frame
- The frame is a freestyle frame (but the H block of the frame is interchangeable so you will be able to skate flat and anti-rocker as well),
-They say it is a frame in time for Christmas
-You will only need 1 allen key because of the Sickle bolt
- Fits 60mm wheels

haha, they’re not really calling it the schristmas frame are they? also, what do i need to view podcasts? i have never viewed one in my life.
also, judging by the pics im hoping for the sake of those frames that they dont come with built in plastic spacers! i’d rather have removable metal spacers. i hate riding anything with built in plastic spacers *ie mooks or older kizers) or plastic frame spacers (old razors and GC frames).
This is only the prototype mold, so it isn’t the real plastic that they use in the frame, so where the spacer wholes are supposed to be plastic fills them in. That isn’t the actual frame. All G.C frames now come with metal hardware, so you don’t have anything to worry about.
Also, All you need is Itunes, and find the podcast on the ITunes store, it is pretty easy. They will automatically update for you.
