Hamilton Skate Weekend (H.S.W) has created a lot of buzz and people seem to be really interested in the idea and are willing to come down in stay in our little slice of rolling heaven. First off, I want to say thank you for all the people who are coming down, both me and Roger guarantee that we will do everything in our power to make sure you have a good time. Secondly, many people have told us that they want to come down, but if you haven’t YOU MUST E-MAIL or PHONE me or Roger ahead of time, this isn’t going to be some sloppy operation that is half heartedly put together we need information ahead of time to best accommodate you.

All information will be posted in the middle to late this week, but here is what both me and Roger have figured out.
#1 If you need a ride from Iceland you must be at the park between 12 and 3. Roger will be waiting for 3 hours to take you to Hamilton, for you to reserve a ride you must let us know ahead of time so we know if we should send more then just Roger to pick people up.
#2 If you are bringing a car please let us know if you would be willing to drive other people if you have room, this way we know how many people we have to accommodate with transportation.
#3 If you are taking a bus or train let us know ahead of time, so I (Nick) can stay in Hamilton to meet you. Try to come in groups if you all live in the same town as this will give me 1000x less headache and I will seem about 10, 000x nicer.
#4 There is going to be a LARGE number of spots mapped out each day, literally mapped out, Roger is printing out a map and pointing out every spot on that map (expect to see this sometime later this week). This way if some people want to skate a hammer someone can take you to a hammer, if you want to have a mellow session someone can take you to a mellow session. There will be conjoined session from every skill level combined with separate sessions for what people are more comfortable with. Both me and Roger will see who wants to skate what, and if the group is divided then we will split and everyone gets to skate what they want (to the best of our ability.) Also, the large number of spots allows for the kick out factor not to play such a large role.
#5 Bring sleeping bags or what ever else you think you need. Both me and Roger are already slightly broke from all this, but we will try to provide things such as water and SOME food for the people staying over, but bring some money if you want to eat right and stay hydrated.
#6 Me and Roger will have our cellphones on all weekend, you get lost the first thing you need to do is call us.
#7 Apartment address will be posted later this week with all other information.
#8 Bars, yes I know some of you are going to want to drink. The apartment is is like 10 minutes away from the main drinking street (Hess Village) in Hamilton, Roger will be going with you guys if enough are interested. Try not to get to smashed and respect the apartment. The cheapest bar on that whole street is called Side Bar, but I suggest if you want to feel good pre-drink, it can get expensive. For the people who can’t drink, that group will be with me what you want to do during that time is up to you.
