**Letter From the Editor.**
Well everyone I’ve been getting some feedback on the website, most being positive this is a good indication that I’m on the right track. The biggest question is how much Canadian roller news is there really? And I think that’s the problem, we as Canadian rollers don’t give ourselves enough credit. I am willing to write about anything from small contests (pictures provided please) to large ones. From shop and website profiles to up and comers from all over Canada. If you E-mail me (My E-mail is in the about section) with any news I’ll be glad to be a median so that it can be heard. I will still continue to search for news and provide, hopefully, what can be considered a good source for the Canadian rolling industry. That’s my section of news, now for the good stuff.

NEWS
Leon Basin recently posted up a profile, which was recognized by RollerNews . What’s amazing is that this footage is quite old, as we can see Leon rocking TRS Estillos. Leon who is associated with the infamous Shop Task , who have caused quite a stir in Canada, seems to be causing quite the stir himself. A lot of respect goes out to Leon for representing Canadian rolling at such a high level. You can view a direct link to the edit can be found here.
Battle My Crew Ontario. This is exactly what it sounds like. If you have a crew that resides within the Ontario borders start filming and make sure you get everything in by the end of summer. For more information hit up the VM-Magazine message board. On a completely diffrent note the picture posted below is not VG21: Battle my crew, but is really the Ontario Battle my crew (note my poor photoshopping skills)…please don’t sue me.

Task Ontario DVD is now out and has been since June 23rd. The one problem with finding this DVD is that Shop Task has no website and seems to be having problems between them and shops with store-fronts. I have tried to locate Brian’s (one of the owners of Shop Task) number but it escapes me at this time. So hit up the Visual Minority website, Brain will answer you’re your questions there and will most likely be happy to sell you some skate gear and their fresh new DVD. You Can Find Brian by posting here.
****EDIT*** I have just recieved Brians number from the man himself, if you want anything from task including their hot DVD call 416 822 0696**** For those who do not know 416 is the Toronto area code.
COMPETITION NEWS
The Toronto Scene got much needed face-lift on July the 22nd with Shop Tasks STSB (Shop Task Skate Battle). The Contest, which was in danger of getting rained out, turned out to be a huge success. Bringing the roller of Ontario together. It was held down in Mississauga near the Cawthra and Queens area, followed by a BBQ session. The Contest has caused some controversy amoung some Torontonian skaters, as the name has been said to be ripped off of TSB (Toronto Skate Battle), which was hosted by Dekalz shop. Hopefully the two opposing parties can settle their diffrences, as rolling in Canada does not need anymore barriers. The Source of this information came from VM-Magazine. So check them out www.VM-magazine.com. The competition information can be found here.

Hey Nick. Great job on the site. Thanks for helping our scene here(Toronto and anywhere else). Keep with it!
